The history of actions on Zoning (since '93), Zoning Variances (since '80),
and Building Permits (since '79), is also integrated at a Section Township Range or Tax Parcel.
For each of these actions, related commission agenda and planning staff reports
are available. The GeoGM Mapper is documented with Metadata and it provides a
User Guide. Many of its 90+ datasets have a regulatory authority, others are our best
version of available data. For specifics on the use of each layer please refer to its
documentation.
GeoGreen Mapper
This Green Map provides
access to 40+ GIS datasets on green infrastructure and green living and to important related countywide studies.
Significant environmental and cultural resources are grouped in three categories:
- bicycle/pedestrian corridors (trails, bicycle facilities, low speed roads, bus routes and bus stations, etc.)
- conservation/recreation (preservation lands, strategic ecosystems, priority ecological areas, etc.)
- cultural/preservation (farmer markets, community gardens, recycle centers, bookstores, thriftstores, historic structures, etc.)
GeoPT Mapper
Geo-Track Building Permits and Building Inspections using our Geographic Permit Tracker (GeoPT).
Monitor live on the map during the day as building inspections occur and complete.
Map dynamically building permits by parcel, and view
full land application and action history for each of the last 28 years. GeoPT provides for up to the minute
geo-inspection reports, for field entry of inspection results, etc. GeoPT integrates geospatially,
up to the minute, with our Oracle Dbase and ArcSDE where we store bulding activities information.
Impact Fees and Certificates of Occupancy (COs) issued from 1994 to date are also available in
map and tabular form for view and download.
GeoCE Mapper
Geographic Code Enforcement tracker.
Provides for tracking, view, query, and download of zoning code violations back to 1994. Search by parcel,
by address, or by section township range. Query for violation type, violation category, status of case, etc.
For now the current year's data is updated weekly. For specifics on the use of each layer please refer to its
documentation under the Documentation tab.
GeoDR Mapper
You can track approved developments here, impact fees as they are assigned, and certificates of occupancy as they are
issued. As developements are approved, they are displayed as points and are hyperlinked to their Site File.
The data covers January 2008 to present.
Online Map Atlas
County-wide searchable PDF Atlas.
Maps and Searches by Section-Township-Range (STR) or by 'land grant'. Maps contain parcels overlaid with
your choice of Future Land Use, Zoning, Floodplain, Wetlands, Strategic Ecosystems, Topography, or
Aerial Photographs. Some of these layers have a regulatory authority, others are our best
version of available data. For specifics on the use of each layer please refer to its
documentation included in the Atlas.
Landscape Evaluation Model
A Landscape Evaluation Decision Support System for Alachua County, Florida. Provides for characterization
of Ecological Boundaries and Strategic Ecosystems. Run the light version from the web and get your results,
or download for free the full version, for use in your desktop with ArcGIS software.

Search, view, download, all of the 60+ datasets which we regularly update and maintain, or connect live to
our entire GeoData Library of 90+ layers.
For each dataset we offer the most up to date shapefile, legend file, and metadata.

We refresh them frequently. They are composed with the most up to date datasets.
You can also order a standard or a customized paper map with us.
The cost for a standard map is $25 and for a customized map is $35/hour.
