Bike Lanes
This dataset contains roadways having bikelanes or shoulders accomodating to bicycle traffic, or designated for improvements including adding bikelanes. This dataset corresponds with the existing and future bikelanes in the map "Bike/Pedestrian Existing & Future Network" which is part of the Transportation Mobility Element in the Alachua County Comprehensive Plan.

Certificates of Occupancy

Code Enforcement Zones
This dataset contains zones designated by Alachua County Code Enforcement officers, to more evenly distribute both travel distances to violation sites and amount of workload between code enforcement staff. Currently there are 4 zones, evenly dividing the county into 4 quadrants; NE, NW, SE, SW. The enforcement zone where a physical address resides can be inferred from the NE, NW, NE, or SW prefix portion of the address.
Code Violations
This dataset contains code violation information recorded by the Alachua County Department of Growth Management, Alachua County, Florida, from 1994 to present. The area of extent for this dataset is unincorporated Alachua County, including several municipalities which Alachua County Code Enforcement is under contract to serve, and areas which were unincorporated prior to annexation. This dataset is updated weekly.
County Boundary
This dataset contains Florida county boundaries. It is an update of the FGDL Version 3 County Boundaries dataset.
Development Review Applications
This dataset contains locations of development review projects of Alachua County, Florida. The area of extent for this dataset is unincorporated Alachua County.
Existing Land Use
This data set contains existing land use information for Alachua County, Fl. The purpose for the creation of this dataset was to create a simple representation of land use for general mapping purposes, that could be easily recreated using information provided by the Department of Revenue via the Alachua County Property Appraiser's office.

Multi Use Paths
This dataset contains existing and proposed multi-use paths of Alachua County, Florida. Multi-use paths are paved paths or sidewalks that are typically 8 ft or greater in width and accomodate both pedestrian and bicycle traffic. This dataset corresponds with the existing and future multi-use paths displayed on the adopted map "Bike/Pedestrian Existing & Future Network" which is part of the Transportation Mobility Element in the Alachua County Comprehensive Plan.

Municipalities
The municipalities data layer is a composite of parcels from the Alachua County Property Appraiser's designated as being inside of a municipality. Some additional editing has been done to include utility parcels inside of municipalities and the closure of large gaps from road and utility right of ways. Because the Parcel coverage is constantly being maintained, the cities shapefile may not fit the latest parcel boundaries. PLSS Quarter Sections
The Public Land Survey System is a legal land reference system created to facilitate the inventory and transfer of property. This system is divided into township, range, and sections. This shapefile contains PLSS boundaries to the section level, while FPLSS_TR contains PLSS boundaries to the township and range level.

Transportation Mobility Districts
This map displays the Alachua County Transportation Impact Fee districts, which pertain to unincorporated lands only. The Alachua County Transportation Impact Fee Ordinance (Ordinance 06-30) can be referenced underneath Chapter 364 of the Alachua County Code of Ordinances. The district boundaries are established by Section 364.09. The purpose of the boundaries is established in Section 364.08(d) which states "All funds collected shall be properly identified by transportation impact fee district and promptly transferred for deposit in the appropriate transportation impact fee trust fund to be held in separate accounts as determined in section 364.10 and used solely for the purposes specified in this chapter."

Urban Reserves
Urban Reserve areas are designated pursuant to the Alachua County Boundary Adjustment Act, a special act of the Florida legislature which governs annexation in Alachua County (Ch.225 of Alachua County Code). The Reserve Areas are the exclusive areas within which the corresponding municipality may annex property. Extra-Territorial Reserve areas have been designated for some municipalities as areas to be considered for future expansion of those municipalities' Reserve Areas. The County Commission recently adopted new Reserve Area boundaries during it's January 10th, 2006 meeting, which went into effect March 13th, 2006. The boundaries were a result of a 120 day period of negotiation with all Alachua County municipalities which was completed October 26th, 2005.

This data set contains areas which are within 660 ft of Preservation Lands within Alachua County. The area of extent for this dataset is unincorporated Alachua County.
