Description:
On 5/15/2018, Jami Fultz fell outside of Shands Hospital Emergency Department due to an unsafe, uneven surface defect in the walking surface next to the bicycle racks while walking away from the Emergency Department entrance toward a pass-through gate toward the parking lot across the street. There was no warning signage and the uneven surface defect as obscured from view and appeared flat due to Jami Fultz's angle-of-approach. Fultz sustained a fractured wrist and permanent ankle injury.

The hazard remains through present day and has not been repaired and remains dangerous.

This is my next door neighbor just to the South of me. Over the last 6 mos. they have had 3-5 trees fall onto the roof of their guest house (behind their main residence). A few trees have broken through its roof allowing rain, insects,squirrels, birds and whatnot easy access to the building. There is a lot of mold inside the building another neighbor told me, and mold outside the building. The gutters are falling off the roof. The lot behind them which they own is very overgrown and home to snakes, mice, armadillos. All of this is easily visible from my backyard and an eyesore in addition to being a health hazard. Residents of Split Rail Also have to view this mess and feel the health hazards associated with it.

Please investigate this matter and give the neighborhood some relief!

the apartments in the back (7- to the end of complex) Have a heavy mold infestation, under the carpet and in the walls. The cabinets are falling off due to dry rot because of the moisture 9kitchen/bathroom they crumble in your hand, counter tops are warped and you can smell and see the mold in the carpet padding, window sills, closet doors, base boards etc) - the back area on the far side of the patio walls are not mowed and rats have come into the patios and the walls and the tree roots have grown into the ac lines causing them to back up and leak under the carpets - causing most of the mold. mold is in the all of the rooms under the sinks behind the cabinets. the plumbing doesn't work and raw sewage is leaking into the ground and surrounding areas - the tubs and sinks are always backing up. there are numerous stray cats in the area that are diseased. and the grass is not being cut. there are roaches in the vacant units that constantly try to infest the occupied units. the overgrowth in the back area causes filthy flooding at the trash can and the laundry area and onto residents patios. Finally, the units through out are "hot wired" or haven been wired by an unlicensed electrician - check the duct work/tape for the ac unit in 22, 23, 25, 13, 12, 11. The ac units are not connected properly and some of the units are piggybacking off of each others electricity. The place is not fit to have anyone living there and there are children and infants living there.

They already tore out 5 lots mobile homes without lead tests or disposal methods. Jerry wilkes construction removed them.
There are a huge amount of hundred year old trees being wiped out. Driveways are being tore out and replaced and hope they're being permitted. We are already in a flood zone and I just worry. Our water gets shut off without notice and some people seem to say the water seems funny with all the water piping changes. I've never seen anyone from the county checking
