  1. Fees shall cover expenses of review conducted during the one-year period commencing on the date the fee is paid; if plans are submitted for the same project more than one year from the date, a new fee shall be required.
  2. A new fee shall be required if a significant change in the scope of the project is made.
  3. The base fee includes the initial application, one insufficiency report and resubmittal. If any additional insufficiency reports are required, the resubmittal fee shall be collected with the second resubmittal.
  4. Preliminary plans that are over the threshold are defined in the Unified Land Development Code, Section 402.44
  5. Fees are allocated to Growth Management, EPD, Public Safety and Public Works.
  6. After a pre-application review meeting, an application for a combined Preliminary and Final Development Plan must first be authorized by Growth Management Director or designee.
  7. Staff administrative review, such as for submittals such as minor adjustments for approved plans, shall be charged at the hourly rate.
  8. Properties located within the Northeastern and Southeastern Urban Cluster as shown on the Alachua County Future Land Use Map shall have application fees for land use, zoning, or development review reduced 50 percent.
  9. Fees for Health Department review include re-plats (well and septic) and development plans with any of the following: Septic Systems (new, existing or proposed for abandonment); Wells; Pools; Physicians’ Offices; Veterinarians; Tanning Facilities; Schools; Daycares; Mobile Home Parks; Group Homes or Migrant Labor Camp.
