ALACHUA COUNTY
UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE (ULDC) UPDATE
The Alachua County Comprehensive Plan has recently been updated and went into effect in December 2019. The Alachua County Comprehensive Plan is a long range plan and broad
policy document for guiding local decision-making and implementing our community’s vision. Florida Statutes require a community’s land development regulations to be updated
within one year of a Comprehensive Plan update. Alachua County’s land development regulations are known as the Unified Land Development Code (ULDC). The ULDC includes all
zoning regulations and specific development standards for new development within unincorporated Alachua County. Public participation is a key component of this process.
Your thoughts, ideas, and participation are needed to make this ULDC Update a success.
