We hope to be back to business as usual soon, but we are currently providing many services electronically or by phone. Most staff is working remotely to provide services.

Alachua County is using a new permitting/PAS software now. This software provides a Search/Report function, you can search for permit information and also get a report of different type of permits. Please read the instruction on how to search and get a report

Please note that Permit Tracker is still available at the moment but it has not been updated since 11/6/2020, if you are looking for permits that were applied before 11/6/2020, you can still use Permit Tracker, if you are looking for permits that were applied after 11/6/2020, please use our new software.

Building Permit Tracker

Track detailed Building Permits info from 1979 to this minute. View comments from plan examiners and inspectors in real time, as they are entered into the system via phone or computer. Search by:

  • Permit Number
  • Parcel Number (example: 14557-000-000)
  • Address (example: 220 S Main St)
  • Owner or Applicant Name (example: John Smith)

When using the Advanced Search option, enter either a Permit #, Parcel #, Name, or an Address.
Using multiple search fields (e.g. entering a Permit # AND Parcel #) may hinder search results.
